Black Stomp

I have a lot of thoughts about this man. For one, the immediate thought is that only mono-green can be Stompy. However! A few cards in other colors have recently added to people's confusion about this, because these few cards are "stompy-like". Abyssal Persecuter is a prime example of this, with Phylactery Lich and Obliterator being others to an extent. Does that mean that eventually other colors will be stompy? Well...Not really. See, as the other colors push into the higher numbers of mana-efficiecy, so is Green. For that reason, mono-green will always be the absolute most efficient. The second thing I see is that the deck can be very fast with some tweaks, but is at the moment a tad slow. I get the idea of using artifacts for the Lich, but I don't know if it's worth it without focusing the deck too much in that direction. I do like the use of Lashwrithe, but that's it really. Abby is a powerhouse, no doubt about that. But with him, you gotta have some consistent way to kill him off when the time comes. Moving the deck more towards a theme of blacksac could easily take care of that and work right in your favor. Bloodghast is as always an excellent addition, and would again do well for the sacrifice idea. I think you should do something like: 4 x Abby 3-4 x Obliterator 4 x Bloodghast 4 x Mortician Beetle [A bunch of sac outlets] [other good stuff of your choice] Hope that helps dude! OH WAIT! One last thing...running sub-20 is dangerous unless the deck is specifically made to handle the lowered count.
