I know. Not sure I'd say I'm back for good but Forgotten Realms cards have gotten a ton of people (myself included) playing, buying cards, and building decks again. And I hate all the other deck builders, they suck.
Here's a MonoRed one I made a couple yrs ago, that is both cheap and legal in modern. (Recently replaced the Brute Strength with Titan's Strength for the Scry ability.)http://www.mtgvault.com/azzmodeus/decks/immolating-soulbomb/
From one Romero fan to another... Good Deck. +1
I have and it is. :)
Nice deck. Taps is indeed an old friend. Mine have always either been U/W or B/W. Here are a couple I made recently. I think you'll like the B/W one more. B/W... http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=211053 W... http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=214896
THanks for all the suggestions. I think I've found a good mix now.
Here is a couple of decks that I thought were good but didn't get the love I believe they deserve. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=201184 http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=123079 http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=174107
Landfall and living lands were one of my favorite parts of the Zendikar block. Here is my farewell Zendikar deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=213264
I very much like this deck. I definitely have to build this deck. Teysa is a devilishly fun general to play. Here is my Teysa Deck. I only have a couple of other EDH decks but this one is by far my favorite. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=200418
Nice deck. Here are some friendly suggestions... I'd drop the black sun's and replace them with something less self destructive. Two favorites of mine are: Royal Assassin or Gruesome Encore. Also I'd replace the Mortis Dogs with Necrotic Ooze
Thanks for the comment and the suggestion. Right now everyone I'm playing against is rather creature intensive so the Assassinates are too handy to lose. I'll have to SB some Oblivion Rings for sure though.
Oni Possession
Some of these might make the cut... Incandescent Soulstoke - Elementals Timber Protector - Treefolk Bramblewood Paragon - Warriors Greatbow Doyen - Archers Oona's Blackgueard - Rogues Sage of Fables - Wizards Verdeloth the Ancient - Treefolk and Saprolings Mad Auntie - Goblins Field Marshal - Soldiers Balthor the Stout - Barbarians Balthor the Defiled - Minions and Scion of Oona - Faeries
I like it. The only suggestion I would make is replacing the Kitesail Apprentices with Salvage Scouts allowing you to go to your graveyard and get some of that equipment back if it gets countered or spot removed.
Here is my version. Very similar. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=124318
Great Deck! A couple of suggestions: Replace the Angelsongs for Dawn Charms and replace Even the Odds with Reverse Damage. Also, I'd drop the Mistveil Plains and put in some fetch lands to speed mana up.
Yes, remaining standard is a goal here, and so was keeping it fast. I may end up dropping something for Dark Tutelage just to draw faster. Just haven't decided what
Or Gruesome Encore if your aren't as partial to the Royal Ass. as I am.
I like it. Not sure about Flesh Allergy though. Royal Assassins might be useful since you have Tumble Magnet to help him out.
