Start to a life gain EDH deck. Welcome to constructive criticism! This is my first attempt at putting together a decent EDH.

Well one card and EDH staple that you're obviously missing is:Serra Ascendant Ajani's pridemate is also good here

I thought Serra Ascendant was banned in EDH format? Which cards would you recommend removing to put them into the deck?
http://magic.wizards.com/en/gameinfo/gameplay/formats/commandernirkana rev (for serra)not sure what for pridemate, you would know more than me which cards that have under preformed.
Ah, I think I may have been looking at duel commander ban lists as well, which do have Serra Ascendant banned. I have yet to play this deck I was constructing then going to buy after I ran it through a few tests with friends.
Yeah its banned in french commander, but vanilla commander its not.Wizards expects between 2+ people, someone should be able to deal with a 6/6 in a timely manner lol.Oh okay, well pridemate while good probably isn't as game breaking as a turn 1 6/6 flying lifelinker. He's great, but the deck is filled with a ton of good cards already.
yeah, he just makes a decent 2 drop that will become a 4/4 on next upkeep and only gets bigger. Maybe replace Nirkana Revenant with Serra, since I think I may have too many high cost cards in deck a 1 drop might be nice.
Yeah a lower curve is always a good thing haha. Also not having so many non-basic lands is something I have been working on doing in all my edh decks. While the colour fixing is AWESOME.You get hosed by cards like "back to basics" and "blood moon".I know it increases the price range, but honestly, a few utility lands(the ones you really need) a few dual lands and fetch lands. then just a ton of basics is just great.Plus you could then run "back to basics"
thats true. but anything with 3 or more colors always has difficulty drawing the lands they need. Where yes, removing them is a big blow, i think its a little too hard to try and balance it unless you only add a splash of a color in which case maybe run a few dual lands for that color and then basics for the major colors. Since this deck is pretty much even in color distribution i think it would hamper the deck too much to run that. I've been debating running those in a mono/duel color deck though. Would be fun. Maybe a pure graveyard hate deck white/red with land removal.
