Deck discussion for Ain't nobody got time for that

A few tips for deck building:
1. Don't have many 1s or 2s of cards, 3s and 4s are best, it helps ensure you draw what you need when you need it., for your big end-game cards though, 1 or 2 copies is enough.
2. Dual Lands are usually useful, probably the gates, in your case.
3. In a 60 card deck, run 24 lands most of the time, some deck you can get away with less, but looking at this, you'd probably want 24.

Sideboards, I can't help you with, I need to learn how to make them myself, though I will say Azorius Charm is a really good main deck card, so it shouldn't linger in your sideboard

Heres some tips from me!
I would argue that 22 land will suffice most of the time, but thats all opinion based so do what you want but dont stray below 20.
Figure out what you want out of the deck and pick a theme. Then evaluate every card and decide whether it ties into the theme or not. Whittle down until you have 60 cards that fit with the theme.
Combos are always best! If you find a good combo with 2 or more cards, keep it! Non-combo decks can win, but they are typically extremely straightforward and easy to predict. Combos keep your opponents guessing and gives you more options to adapt to gameplay.

Now i'm not saying you havn't done that, BUT its good for future decks. What I see here is pretty organized already. Lots of detain and tap to keep your opponents battlefield open for attack. This is a very well balanced deck. I agree with SatakOz though, get that azorious charm up in the deck! take out the trained caracel, sure its only 1 mana with lifelink, but this isn't an extremely early start deck. You've got enough 2 cost cards to start doing stuff turn 2. I must say this is a great deck for a starter!

Any suggestions on how to not get stomped on by my brothers boros aggro or mono black vampires/kill spells

Oh god. I feel your pain. My Girlfriend has those two decks, effectively, you'll be wanting board sweepers like Supreme Verdict, unfortunately a quite expensive card. I find with a lot of Aggro they play a lot of non-flying so, stuff like Lyev Skyknight will really help, maybe look at some flicker cards from Avacyn Restored to re-use enter the battlefield effects.

Exept for he likes to play angels that give stuff flying so a 3/1 flyer will do nothing against a flying boros reckoner or aurelia

You already have Arrest, I'd maybe suggest Oblivion Ring then, or if you're willing to splash some cash, Detention Sphere

I've been playing since mirage and love the game. Just use the resources on this site (especially the sample hand function) and you'll learn about the statistics and proper ratios. The only rule you need to follow is keep it at sixty cards. Remember the best decks can win with just seven cards. As for this deck, long term board control is better than short term (detainers) because your deck isn't trying to kill your opponent with one large creature. I'd drop the paralyzingly grip, the Angelic benediction; in order to add two more oblivion rings. I'm a big fan of detention spear but flood might be better against a Boros deck. I play Boros and let me tell you this is not a good matchup for you:( good luck :) AWESOME NAME
