I think I go even further with this:

-4 Gladecovered Scout
-4 Unflinching Courage (Just too expensive)
-2 Rootborn Defenses
-1 Hero's Reunion

+4 Hopeful Eidolon
+4 Ethereal Armor
+3 God's Willing

The Eidolon replaces a substandard creature, and can double as a replacement for Unflinching Courage later in the game. With the Eidolon in play Ethereal Armor becomes really powerful allowing for sick life swings on turns two and three to fuel the wurms. It also prevents a blowout from removal.

Rootborn Defenses may just be too slow since you want to use most of your mana to play cards on your turn. I think you just have to submit to losing to a blowout Supreme Verdict and play God's Willing there instead. I think putting it in the sideboard would be the better bet.

I like this one a lot, but I would suggest a few changes:

-4 Ordeal of Erebos
-4 Swamp
-3 Rough Street Denizens

+4 Scourgemark (Keeps the engine going)
+4 Dimir Guildgate (For Phalanx)
+3 Returned Phalanx (Under costed, allows play into the mid-range)

I think I like Omenspeaker over Murmuring Phantasm so that you can filter out unneeded cards and still get something of a wall out of the deal.

I think I would do this to the list:

-4 Yoked Ox
+4 Favored Hoplite

It does pretty much the same thing, but is less janky. Warrior's Lesson is also something I would really like to see in this deck, so that the engine can regain some steam.

Thoughts and opinions are welcome. I am a little concerned about the low creature number and the mana mix.
