Deck Description

This is a very silly but ridiculous deck that I threw together for casual formats. It revolves around a Squirrel Nest / Earthcraft loop that I fit into an Enchantress shell. The deck focuses on generating stupid amounts of mana via enchantments and then abusing Enchantress effects to draw into the combo pieces.

Although most decks cannot deal with an army of 999,999,999,999,999,999 Squirrel tokens, the deck runs no reliable ways to deal with abilities that shut off combat damage (like "Moat" and "Peacekeeper"). This is why Squirrelcraft uses Altar of Dementia as an alternate win condition.

Running Whip Silk may look a bit off, but Whip Silk is actually this deck's most powerful late-game weapon. After setting up many Enchantress effects, you can effectively bounce Whip Silk (using one of your opponent's creatures or your Squirrel tokens) over and over again to create a loop that will allow you to essentially draw through your entire deck.

If you want to create a more "balanced" version of Squirrelcraft, you can opt to play Exploration instead of Fastbond (as Fastbond is absolutely broken, particularly in this deck). Additionally, you can substitute any of the enchantments with Seal of Primordium if you need some artifact / enchantment hate. The sideboard is not complete yet, as you can probably tell.

Comments and suggestions are more than welcome! Enjoy the deck,

Azen

Deck discussion for Squirrelcraft

Hm. Argothian Enchantress is a creature, not an enchantment. Why is it listed under "Enchantments?" Looks like there's a problem here...

u would have to redo ur entire deck for this but i would like to c what u could come up with the same basic concept but with a sigil captain so ur squirrels come in as 3/3 instead of 1/1 so u wouldnt have to worry about a red deck incinerating ur army with an earthquake or some sort of other spell like that or a pyromancer of some sort like prodigal. if u decide to go that let me know. but i like the deck looks fun to play

Thanks for the comments, guys. unknownhunter763, I'll definetely take a look at your Squirrel build. jjmacgrinch66, your suggestions seem fairly interesting. I'll try to construct something based on Sigil Captain, but remember that spells like Earthquake are hardly effective against the combo. This is because you can trigger the token loop even after Earthquake resolves to reconstruct your entire army.
