Deck Description

Last control deck that I'm hoping to make. It's been a good while since I've played Esper control and the last time I played it I didn't have much luck. I'm confident in these colors though since I'm all about blue/white control decks and playing black is nothing new to me either.

How to Play

Elspeth is the win condition and if you're playing against a deck with white or another control deck board out into Blood Baron and Obzedat. Like any control deck hold off with your spot removal and board wipes. I run Merciless Eviction just cause I think it's a fun card. Could probably put something better in but I like it. Filter your deck with Sphinx's Revelation and Jace.

Deck discussion for Standard Esper Control

Need more scry lands need at least 10+. Your land count is also low you probably want to run at least 26 land and no more than 27. I would drop an azorius charm for one land. I run 12 temples in my version and trust me they smooth out your draws.

I've always ran 25 land in my control decks and never had issues with land. Although I may just add another scry.
