No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

-- INTRO --

I'm pretty new to MTG. My idea with this deck is to win by basically putting a poison counter or two on your opponent and proliferating them. Of course, we have to be able to survive until we can successfully start our proliferation. More on this in the next section.

I'm still working on it so any suggestions would be appreciated.

-- STRATEGY IN DEPTH --

Ok. So basically my idea is to get a poison counter on the target player ASAP, that way, we just have to focus on proliferation. To do this we either use our Flesh-Eater Imps or (I think this way is much easier) simply put an Ichor Rat into play which will automatically put a poison counter on your opponent and yourself... obviously we only proliferate their counters!

Once our poison counter is on the target player, its time to get our proliferation artifacts going. If we're lucky they'll come into our hand soon enough and we'll be able to get them onto the battlefield.
We basically rely on Contagion Clasp and Contagion Engine and instants such as Steady Progress. Throne of Geth can become pretty cool once we have established a solid defense as we can sacrifice Myr Sires to get the proliferation effect. Insidious dreams and Diabolic tutor will enable us to search our deck for the cards we need if things are going too slow. Everflowing chalice will give us the mana sustainability we need and, since we're gonna proliferate, it's basically gonna be endless amounts of it (care not to burn it though).

Cards like Mana Leak and Doom Blade are simply cheap spells that will hopefully help us deal with enemy creatures earlier in the game while we get our strategy going.

And I think that's about it. I haven't tested this deck yet so this is all mere theory. I hope to try it out in the few days to come to improve it. I can already think of a few improvements that could be made but I want to try it out the way it is now. I want to try and reduce the deck size a little to make it more... concise?

Anyways. Some feedback would be very nice! I'm really looking forward to making this deck work and hopefully beat the hell out of my opponents ;).

Thanks for reading this!

Deck discussion for Infect / Proliferate

maybe take Contagion Engine out? seems like a late game card, but the infect deck usually wins before you can get this much mana out so... but this is just imo.. lol

but other than that, this deck looks fun =)

i recently put together a artifact infect with blue black spell support.. take a look n comment =)

Thx for the comment!
I checked out your deck and man... you're right. My deck is way too late game. Yours looks very nice indeed. I think I might try it out (if you don't mind that is).

I'll try to make some changes though I'm now making a blue/artifact deck
Again, thanks and cheers!
