worldly tutor, tooth and nail, defense of the heart, quicksilver amulet, green sun's zenith, garruk's pack leader.
Also signets, sol ring, everflowing chalice, gilded lotus, chromatic lantern, coalition relic, birds of paradise and utopian tree to help with mana.

Trash the mana myrs. They arent necessary. Add bigger/better creatures. Novablast Wurm, both Akromas, Balefire dragon, maybe even worldspine wurm. Look for a few other things that buff 5 power or greater creatures too. There is one that you can sac to give ALL of them flying, that could be a win condition. The herald for godsire isnt that worth it, because you need to sac creatures and you wont want to sac your big ones.
My deck has a majority of big creatures. You should replace the 5+ creatures that dont do anything with ones that have affects.
ALSO....If you can get an Illusionist's bracers, you can use mayael's ability twice. Pretty beneficial.

Oh ok, thank you.

And sadly illusionist's bracers don't work on mana abilities.

Looking like an epic EDH deck! I'm not sure about Phyrexian Hulk or Hexplate Golem, both are to vanilla and underwhelming as if you were to find them with Mayael in the top 5 cards of your deck you'd pick any other 5+ power card over either of them. I do however highly suggest looking over the added cards from Gatecrash like Sylvan Primordial, Guruul Ragebeast, Borborygmos Enraged, and Skarrg Goliath they offer a nifty mechanics while the sheer size and power this deck wants. In addition there are epic spells such as Clan Defiance and Signal the Clans. Heres a link to them for ya so you can look through yourself. --> http://www.wizards.com/magic/tcg/article.aspx?x=mtg/tcg/gatecrash/cig#

Also, Deadly Recluse seems underwhelming as his purpose is to trade him with an enemies creature. Perhaps a more potent spider to eat more of your enemies flyers like Silklash Spider or just skip right to Sylvan Primordial. ;3

Hope my input helped! If you have time and would be interested I'm something different check out my new deck, I'm looking for comments and feedback to fine-tune it a bit. Heres the link. :D --> http://www.mtgvault.com/vandheer/decks/progress-of-evolution/

Ah, but illusionist bracers DOES work on Mayael. I thought it wouldnt work either, so i looked it up, and a "mana ability" is considered and ability that produces mana. So it does work.
Also i think you need to get rid of some of the smaller creatures like Qasali ambusher and Pilgrim's Eye.
Shivan wumpus and Argothian wurm arent that great either because people can counter them. Lurking predators is also a really good card to have, it lets you look at the top card for a creature whenever an opponent casts a spell, and if it isnt, you may put it on the bottom. REALLY great in multiplayer.
Also, im not sure you need the signets or any of the artifacts. they are kind of nice for mana, but you dont want to have so much mana you dont know what to do with.

I understand what you mean about how I might have too much mana but I would rather too much than none at all, if I do run into that problem I will deal with it then.

Looks very solid. The only thing i can see is that primeval titan is technically banned in EDH. Consider replacing it and a couple of your signets with things like prismatic omen, chromatic lantern, and darksteel ingot. Even though you're filtering through lots of cards, id consider adding some removal to the deck. Things like wrath of god, oblivion ring, day of judgment, etc. Can help you in a pinch, especially once you have avacyn out for instance.

Thank you, I was unaware that he was banned.

Seedborn Muse and Awakening are a must. Activating her on each players turn is insane.

Get rid of the alara creatures that have activated abilities to give a benefit to another creature... it's too mana intensive and underwhelming. Just play more threatening creatures. (IE Vigor, Terrastodon, Akroma, etc)

Homeward Path to get back stolen creatures is a must with as many big threats as Mayael plays.

Keeper of Progenitus. You're welcome.

I disagree with Epsilon on this point. Those "mana intensive" abilities only cost a single mana, and give great benefits to your many, MANY large creatures. With the amount of mana ramp in here, I doubt you'd have a problem keeping a land open for use with these.

If you're ever looking for inspiration for this deck, you might take a look at the one I built just recently. The last time I played it, I won the game with 552 life, and I was swinging for an average of 140 damage per turn.
