This deck seeks to achieve its winning combo by aggressively filtering the library. It can win as early as turn four. It is weak against aggro, creature removal, and counter control.
The combo works two ways. Use the Jeskai Ascendancy, a zero cost artifact, and retraction helix to pump up your flier or unblockable creature for a win. Also with Altar of the Brood in play it wins through mill. Note that the Zephyr Scribe can activate the mill win without the ascendancy. The mantis riders are a solid creature that can win on their own, but in most cases are just a decoy. All other cards are to facilitate finding the combo, or to protect the combo when played. Because of the low cost of most cards in combo, I usually hold the cards in my hand until I have the win. The briber's purse is useful at slowing down you opponent until the combo is found.

This is a deck I own. Working on more temples.

I like the idea of the briber purse but it may be too slow to be any use against the late game vs. a stable board or monastery mentor/rabblemaster horde. I think anticipate might be needed here just for better looting options instead of taigam and burn removal for early starts(wild slash a zurgo, or anafanza kin early) Stratus Dancer for silumgar sorc so you don't have to exploit a scribe just to cancel and plays into morph. Cool Stuff set though!
Thanks for the input. I am always messing with the creature mix. Stratus dancer is a good fit but doesn't activate until turn five. The sorcerer can flash in and attack on turn four, he can also exploit himself as just a creature counter. But you are right, don't really have any good exploit targets for it. I like taigams because it fills the graveyard for the dig, which is the only card draw in the deck.
