you sac the hexmages turn two to do it. It goes like this. Turn one: Urborg. Turn two: dark depts. Hexmage. Sac hexmage to remove all counter from Dark Depths. (Remember, Dark Depths is a Swamp when Urborg is in play, so you can tap both for black mana.)

How dare you use Akroma's sword in a mono black deck! lolz. I'm guessing this is made of cards you have, because it should have a lot less singles in it to run smoothly. I mean, sure there'll be times where everything is perfect and you get everything you need, but if you're only using 1 of most of your cards, that won't be often. More Doom Blades, some Vendetta's and some Rise From The Grave's wouldn't be a bad idea
No mind sludge?
If this is a landfall deck, you need more land. Like, maybe 25 or so.
Hexmages kill planeswalkers too! Don't forget that. Sac them to remove all loyalty counters from them
Empty the Warrens can make you plenty of token to sacrife with it's storm effect. Bitumous Blast is basically 2 spells in one. You could add Furnace of Wrath so that you general deals 2 damage instead of 2, gettting you there twice as fast. However, the most important thing you're missing is probably tutor spells. Demonic tutor, Diabolic tutor, and Beseech the Queen are all great to include, because in a 100 card deck, any search spell is worth the mana. Anyway, look good from what I see, you've got a nice mana curve and the right amount of land. I think it's pretty good. It'd like to play it against mine. Check it out. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=61181
This is epic! I don't really know what to think of it, but it's epic! Can you look at mine? It still needs some work, I think. 9/10 for you http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=61181
You can't have more than 1 copy of non-basic lands. This means you can only have one Misty Rainforest, one Oran-Reif, and one Halimar Depths. Llanowar Reborn is a land you might want to add, since has a graft mechanic on it. Also, there are a lot of artifact creature from Mirrodin the have an ability call Modular, which means they also come into play with +1/+1 counters on them. Hinder is a really good EDH counterspell, because it puts the enemy general on the bottom of the opponents library. Check out the combo of Sphinx of Magosi with your general, they both end up being able to draw you cards. The thing is, you don't have many activated abilities on your creatures to combo with Experiment Kraj, because Kraj's ability one work with activated abilities, not static (like flying) or triggered (like persist). Try adding some planewalkers to this, since many Walkers will go straigt to ultimate, or very close, when comboed with doubling season. Overall though, it still has some work, but is looking pretty good. Check mine out please. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=61181
Hmmm... I think you'll want some more big bomby spells. In EDH, it is perfectly acceptable to have 7 or 8 7+cmc cards in your deck, to provide you with a few game changeing spells. I'd also throw in some control to deal with big threats. Bant charm is great because it can put the enemy general on the bottom of the other player's deck. Try "Condemn" too. Anyway, just some thoughts on it. A final thing, don't worry if you only have a few low cost spells in your deck. It is perfectly acceptable to spend your first 4 or 5 turns doing very little or nothing other than laying lands. Check out my EDH at: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=61181 It's white blue control.
Day of Judgement
Too many singles. Add Felidar Sovereign too. You have a good base, but more copies of Behemoth Sledge, Talus Paladin and Join the ranks will work better. Tae out the Marshal's Anthem too, it' only slowing you down, and you don't need the boost in an ally deck, they provide it themselves.
Another idea I had, Lilianna Vess would rock with your mill theme. And yes, Traumatize is way better.
Here are my thoughts, for what they're worth. I think Bloodbraid Elf, even though it's not as powerful in this deck as most non-EDH ones, would still be a good choice, since you can pull out most of your artifact with it. "Dragonstorm" would be just plain mean with this deck, and Soulblast would be a god finisher. Another idea is to add "Beseech the Queen" as a tutor card. Finally, Madrush Cyclops is great, because he give everyone haste, not just dragons like Karrthus. As for your choise of general, Karrthus is by far better. Let me know what you think of my EDH deck, Isperia the Inscrutable is the General. I think they'd be fun decks to play against each other, actually. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=41415 Oh, and +1 from me.
Add Arcane Sanctum, it's the Esper tri-colour land. Because of the massive amount of mana most people have available in EDH, "Spell Pierce" and other "unless they pay X" cards are usually pretty bad (an exception is Logic Knot, because your graveyard is gonna be pretty big). To add to your Mill theme, you could add "Glimpse the Unthinkable". Anyway, if you could tell me what you think of my updated deck, that'd be great.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=41415 If it's not too much trouble.
I like it, try adding Emeria, the Sky Ruin. You could Path to Exile your own guys to get Plains out faster, and them simply bring back anyone that gets killed at the start of your turn. Looks solid to me.
-1 Paradox Haze, +2 Soulblast, to use with Dreadnought
I think your deck will be great once it gets going, but you could have some problems getting enough mana. You only have 37 lands and 1 mana accel. Try adding multicolour lands, like Vivids, Crumbling Necropolis, Rupture Spire and Ancient Ziggurat. They'll go a long way to smoothing out your mana curve. Take Valakut out, you'll amost never have the 5 mountains you need for it to go off. I would also add cards like "Oona, Queen of the Fae", and "Nemisis of Reason" because they are card advantage. Take out Spell Pierce, because in EHD matches, "unless they pay X" effects are pretty useless on the whole, because of the massive amount of mana everyone has out. Take Dark Ritual out though, the odds of you drawing it when you need it aren't good. As a final suggestion, I would add some more removal, like Unsummon and Doom Blade. Other than the mana, it looks pretty strong, You have lots of high powered cards that can swing the game in your favor in one turn. +1 from me. Could you tell me what you think of my EDH deck please? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=41415
Sorry, typo, make that Grave Pact.
Great, this is awsome, it's great how the Zendikar cards make it work. Maybe add GravPact for every time you sac Bloodghast, but honestly, I think it's awsome. Can you comment on my Vampire deck? +1 from me.
