The idea for this deck came from taking the concept of Green/Red Valakut ramp and applying it to Emeria in Green/White instead. The idea of this deck is to pound your opponent with Titans. In most big creature decks, removal is your bane. In this deck, it's not that big a deal since your Titans simply return from your graveyard once Emeria comes online. Once you have Sun Titans and Emeria both, it should be game over. Should your opponent destroy Emeria, Sun Titan gets it right back. Even if you have to suicide attack with the Sun Titan, it doesn't matter because Emeria simply brings him back too. There is only one Tectonic Edge since Primeval Titan allows you to fish for it and Sun Titan brings it back as many times as you need. Same for Mystifying Maze. Don't be afraid to Day of Judgment. If you have Titans in play, Emeria will bring them back, and Sun Titans will bring back Wall of Omens for card draw or the Replica for enchantment/artifact removal. I previously had huge game ender creatures like Avenger of Zendikar and Nova Blast Wurm in the deck. Both were amazing and not difficult to bring out. However, what I found is many times by that point it was over kill. On the otherhand, if I couldn't get them out it was usually because my opponent was able to harass me early. Hence they were replaced by two Baneslayers. They have the ability to come out by turn 3 and they cover two holes this deck had which was lack of flying and life gain. I wish I could squeeze four of them in. Ultimately, the additions of the Mimic Vats convinced me to add 4 Sunblast Angels. The Shards era Standard block allowed me to run 4x Planar Cleansings for a total of 8 board wipes. The angels simulate this ability. Combined with Emeria or a Mimic Vat bring them over the top. Sadly the Baneslayers didn't make the cut. Format: Standard Designer: Eric Lucero

This latest version sees 4x Planar Cleansings removed (boy does this deck miss them) and replaced with Sylvok Replica due to the Scars rotation. Replica is a good card for this deck as it can be a chump blocker and returnable artifact/enchantment killer.
