Thanks for the input. The moxes and sol ring are great when I draw 14 cards from the notion theif/windfall combo. If it wasnt for that, then there would not be a need for them in here. Although I did play this the last few nights, I did notice that once the mindcrank combo was in place, I did lack the additional '1 damage' needed to finish off the opponent.
that being said, I do play a lot of 2-headed giant, so that's why my mind was stuck on the consuming aberration/notion theif additions (as the games tend to go a little longer), and one cast of any spell (brainstorm, lotus petal) dumps cards in their graveyard from the aberration for the duskmantle.

I guess playing 1 player would need the adjustments you suggested to be a little more reliable. Thanks again.

played it the last couple of days. works pretty well.
I added a slightly different dimension to the deck, Notion theif into windfall, which really opens the game up draw wise. If it goes off early (like turn 3), I get a lot of rage quitting :P

It's not bad if this is a deck you just made with random faeries laying around and you are not willing to invest into it (and you play people with the same caliber decks). I am not trying to be mean, but there are a lot better ways to make this deck really good if you feel like investing in it. If not, and it works for you around the kitchen table, good job :)

nm...I thought green sun zenith was banned for some reason...I was thinking primevil titan as that is what I use green Zenith on in non-EDH :P...mixed it up with modern

is green sun's zenith the only thing in here that makes this unplayable in EDH (non-French banned)?

why not just sub them out? You dont need a copy for each deck...

if you play a lot of EDH, Command tower/strip mine are good investments as they can go into every deck, and like Ninja said, they are relatively cheap (command tower is like $5.00 as well).

Lattice and gorilla are nice as well as ancient grudge

could have started with the land just as a placeholder for a count :P...but that still doesnt answer the no blue. oh well.

When constructing a deck, you may first want to decide what you want the deck to do. then build it up from there. Might be easier :P

not sure if your sticking to legacy, but here are a few other ideas:

I play online and I have these :P. Once online gets the power 9 (which I think they will be at the end of the year), I will have to update (and dish out some money).
