The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Well v.1 was straight rakdos but it wasnt doing well to keep its creatures alive. V.2 Was Jund but i still don't think it was doing good. Well i may have to explain some of the inclusions. I added 2 Black rings because board wipes are this deck's worst nightmare. I have epic experiment just for fun i guess but i have done nasty things with it before so i thought might as well add one. Chandra for her copying and i was thinking about a single Nicol Bolas but i don't think the mana will like him... The rest of the spells are just controll with burn bouncing and a couple counters. Now for the main attraction: Nivmagus. I have him because of how good he can be. I can pretty much always swing for 5-6 turn 2 which is pretty good. Even if i don't pump him and such i still have a potential helper if i face counters and he's still a nice one drop. I tried to keep this aggro but now its Aggro/Control. Land and sb are major issues at the moment so please help

First of all, lets dicuss the main deck. Sideboard and land in a minute. -2 on the Duress. You don't need them. -2 on the EE. The instants and sorcerys you run dont really synergize with it as well as they should. +1 Pillar of Flame, +1 Dreadbore, add Bonfire (its too good to not be run.) Now for sideboard... Think Nivix Guildmage, Vexing Devil, Counterflux. Land... take out the Cathedral of War. Put in another Mountain and one more Dragonskull Summit. Hope this helps.

Wow this deck is ugly dynacharge is just bad I agree about no duress in the main Your bit going to hit enough lands for past in flames to matter same for epic experiment Syncopate is really only used when nessecary otherwise people prefer dissipate If your niv magus is a 5/6 on turn two you've over extended and my dreadbore/ abrupt decay/ unsummon / cyclonic (etc etc) will just get extra value Deviant glee is terrible once again my removal gets value Cathedral of war is bad desolate lighthouse is better Once you fix your mainboard I can come back and time the land base If you want a tempo based deck (it kind of feels Aggro control deck) you could start with 4x pillar 4x delver 4x guttersnipe 2x talrand 4x unsummon 3x searing spear 4x cackler Based on your deck description that's the vibe your really trying to get
As said before i don't mind dreadbores etc.. because i can just give it hexproof with mizzium skin and i may change a black ring to blue for more hexproof. After play tests i did decide to drop the past and the experiment as well as syncopate. Deviant glee is meant for token decks allowing me the option of being able to run their lingering spirits over. cathedral is there because i feel it is better considering i am only usually attacking with one creature at a time. Now with your suggestions Pillar- i may add more delver- I want to avoid him as much as possible i really don't like him Snipe- I want to be more early game based meaning he will be a bit slow after my spells are run dry Talrand- i was thinking of adding him but the 2 blue is a problem unsummon- I might replace past with those Searing- i need to get some first >_< cackler- i feel my 3 is enough atm but i will see after some more testing
