Back in the wonderful day of the Scars of Mirrodin block, I had a lot of fun with my "Elfdrazi" deck. Go in, turn three overrun. Ah, how I miss those days. Anyways, I am glad to see Elves make sort of a comeback in Standard with the new M13 set. As an added bonus, I see they have made a flashable Elf that can essentially be more effective than Vengevine. While looking on the new Standard decklists, I have seen people attempt to make Elves...however, to me, it looks like a poor attempt at a ramping green aggro deck. Sorry, it is not an Elf deck if you are only running three different Elves. Also, for an added bonus, we have Glissa and a touch of infect; greeeeeat for surprising your opponenets. Here is my attempt at making the cult that once was a top Tier in standard (like how I said cult, huh?). I give you Elves!!!

Actually, while this deck is good, a lot of the standard decklists I see online are a bit more solid. Those decks use more ramp and the addition of cards such as ezuri, predatory rampage(rarely, but sometimes) and soul of the harvest, which allows you to play out your deck pretty fast. But I do like this build, especially the addition of glissa.

I think I am just being a little biased. I went on to StarCityGames and saw their latest article on FNM Elves and it literally looked like a varient of Wolf Run Ramp... I was getting annoyed because it is like, "Ugh, get off the established builds and create something new!" So, here is me being wacky and going way out of the box and taking advantage of big creatures with a splash of infect to completely throw off your opponent. Plus, Glissa never gets enough love :(
