Ignoring the 300$ manabase, which I'll just proxy for casual and borrow for competitive, this is my take on the interesting and interactive control deck Gifts and Rites, also known as Esper Gifts. You play a control game for the first however many turns, then cast Gifts Ungiven, searching only for Unburial Rites and Iona/Elesh/Akrom to put into the graveyard… the rest follows from there.I intended for it to fit my relatively tight (for modern, at least) budget of 150$, and it mostly stayed true to that. Like I said, I don't include lands in my calculations, due to them being both boring and easy to borrow for tournaments.
