This deck is an izzet-themed deck with mostly Ravnica block cards, but with a few Theros and a few Innistrad cards here and there. In casual play, I have great success, going almost undefeated out of the many times I've played it. Try it out, and feel free to post in the comments suggestions for changes.

Epic Experiment would work wonders here, since you are relying on instants/sorceries, especially since most of these cards are low-cost.

It's a little expensive for my tastes, and it also can get rid of some nice creatures, but you have a point. Thanks for the suggestion.
Pyroconvergence is another great card, works similar to a Guttersnipe
That would be great if I was to go for more multicolored cards, but unfortunately I don't have too many. What do you think about a UR storm deck? That's next on my list.
Desprate Ritual and Pyretic Ritual are must-haves for that kind of deck
Both are amazing but why no seething song? Too expensive?
Rite of Flame and Seething Song are both banned in Modern :-/
I'd go with a playset of Lotus Bloom instead =)
Seems like a fun card. Rite of Flame is just mean :P
If you're going to storm in U/R then I'd highly recommend the following: Izzet Guildmage, Training Grounds and Manamorphose = Infinite Mana, Inf card draw. After this you'd usually follow up with Grapeshot/Empty the WarrensorLava Spike, Desperate Ritual, Izzet Guildmage. Cast Lava Spike, then splice into arcane the Desperate Ritual, then hardcast it, allowing DR to resolve. Use the mana to activate Izzet Guildmage and copy the original Lava Spike (with the spiced DR on it) to give yet another 3 DMG to opponent and so forthIts fun combo's, but your friends/opponents are most likely not to play with you anymore
Lol I intend to go into competitive eventually so thanks for the help
