How do you survive? I don't see anything that says you can have negative life...

Life is totaled at the end of turn. You gain the life back during your up keep. If your negative at the end of any turn, you lost.
You can't play spells during Untap, and bargain is during Draw so how are gaining life back during upkeep? is it the next upkeep and you just make sure not to max out and die? If so, seems vulnerable to Lightning bolt etc.
Use Yawgmoth's Bargain as a fast effect in response to the beginning of your up keep. Last in first out. I've seen it played both ways I don't know which is right but in this case it doesn’t matter. That is life being totaled at end of turn or end of phase. By the end of your upkeep your life is in the positives. So a bolt would hit first before you draw cards. The question is the difference between loss of life and pay life. So after more thought I don't think you can go negative. You can't pay what you dont have.
