Deck Description

Control/Combo

How to Play

Use Pestilence to wipe the board while your creatures stay. You can protect yourself with the rune of protection or life gaining walls. Plenty of oppertunities for combos such as Stuffy doll+guilty conscience or Sanguine Bond+Exquisite Blood. The stuffy doll+pestilence and even pariah added has great synergy.

It is a really great deck.
I played with a pestilence deck casually, and like the card a lot.
I think lifelink on the stuffy doll could be quite strong.

I also tried to build a more serious pestilence deck a while ago, but it is not that good:

Thanks for the advice, I have considered lifelink not only because it eliminates the use of rune of protection but stuffy doll(chose yourself)+pariah+lifelink = infinite life. It's just very difficult to land all 3 of course lol.

Cool deck! I like Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond a lot!! Might find a way to put them in my deck. I might would take out White Knight and Voice of Grace out and put in Warrior en-Kor and Spirit en-Kor to increase the amount of damage from pestilence by redirecting the damage from them to stuffy doll, that is being dealt by pestilence. Maybe take out dark ritual or put it in your sideboard, since drain life is in there also and replace it with more spells that deal damage to all creatures to utilize stuffy doll more. All in all great deck though!!

Thanks! I will toy around with it, originally, the theme was using pestilence to wipe the board while the protection from black creatures remained, darkest hour played a bigger role, but earlier this year I started playing Magic again, and learned about stuffy doll and all its advantages.

Yeah it's a pretty solid deck for sure. Just being able to redirect the damage from your creatures to stuffy doll is a nice added bonus. Yeah darkest hour with prot from black is a pretty cool idea!

I think this deck is spot on, the only thing I could think of is possibly running Souls of the Faultless at least SB for now
