Deck Description

Pretty standard looking Zoo deck for Legacy. It's kind of budget, which explains my painful mana base. I'm working on trying to get 2 more Grim Lavamancers (to out the Magus of the Scrolls) and 2 more Wooded Foothills before I work on improving the mana base. As it is, Lightning Helix is usually enough to save me from an early end. If the game drags on a bit, Jitte does the job of keeping me alive and well off just fine (it is Jitte after all).

Please let me know what you think, I know my sideboard could use some work. I'm considering moving to a creature heavy SB, that way I can keep pressure up while hating on what ever I happen to need to hate on.

Deck discussion for Legacy Naya Zoo

The fork of DEATH lives! Good to see a nice Zoo deck up and about, I'd thought they died alongside Dredge.

Also, I see you face my predicament as well. How in the nine rings of hell, does one plan to deal with ANT decks?

Well, that is one of Zoo's difficult matchups. Gaddock Teeg, Leyline of Sanctity, Ethersworn Canonist and winning the coin flip all help. Also, wasteland is definitely a card that should be in here. These won't swing the matchup in Zoo's favor, but they will give it a better chance.
One card I would question in a format where a good portion of decks are running brainstorm is goblin guide. Otherwise, nice deck.

Wasteland is a good card, but I my mana base really can't afford to have them in there. Goyf and Jitte are the only things that'll take colorless mana.

As far as dealing with ANT decks, Teeg so far is really my only answer. I've been thinking about Sudden Shock, or Pyrostatic Pillar. I actually hadn't thought about Leyline of Sanctity, I might be picking a few up.
