This deck wins by getting the Nettle Sentenel x3 + Heritage Druid mana engine online, then dumping out a bunch of elves to feed a hungry Dragon, whom when appeased, kills your foe. Archdruid and Regal Force help draw cards to fuel the combo (check out the Elves, most happen to be druids, which means 90% of the creatures cantrap). Command grabs key pieces, and can keep the combo going. Once you get a Command in the 'yard, in your deck, and in your hand, you can combo until you win for as long as you can keep getting mana from the engine. On average, this deck won around turn 4 when I ran it at FNM back when Shards of Alara released. Conflux helped the Red match up with Mark of Asylum. It also won a few games because a few people realized I could combo out indefinitely until I could manage lethal. Best hand played out as a swing for 60 with 3 20/20 Predator Dragons that had trample. It wasn't so much that I needed to deal 60 damage, then it was just proving a point to the person I was playing.

ahhh, magic has to have the oddest elves. Everywhere else elves are generally elite, powerful warriors that have lived for untold eons and are very small in numbers. But in magic? They're the second biggest horde of cannon fodder next to goblins... Awesome deck by the way.

Thanks, but I'd have to say Saporlings are the biggest horde, which bumps Elves down to 3rd largest. And Elves can beat down, it's just funner to have Dragons eat them.
