I built this deck with the cards I have bought over the few weeks that i have started playing again. I have not played Magic in about 12 years. Last time i played was in 2001 untill 2 weeks ago. This will be my main deck i use in standard play tournaments. I am open to ideas to add to this deck that is why i put it on here. I need alot of help lol but this is the concept to my deck so please help as much as possible thank you.

Will someone please let me know if this is a good idea for a deck or not? im just asking for a little help and i see everyone else getting help so i figured i would comment on it and see if it works.

This shell is definitely plausible with a few tweaks. First off, drop fog and into the wilds, then add another primeval bounty. That will bring you to 60 cards and thats where you want to be. Then I would consider oblivion ring over pacifism. Many creatures have passive abilities, and pacifism doesn't help there. You want those creatures gone instead. As for creatures, drop angelic skirmisher, battle sliver, steelform sliver, and sentinel sliver. Go to 4 striking, 3 megantic, 4 bonescythe, 4 blur, and 4 predatory. That will make the deck faster, more consistent, and it will make you hit harder. Lastly move the elixir to the sideboard and add another garruk. He will allow you to constantly drop multiple creatures a turn and keep your hand full. If you do all of that, the main deck should win pretty consistently around turn 4 and will hit harder each turn after that. :)
Thank you for giving me some advice. i tried this deck and took 3rd the other night. i got screwed on mana some games and creatures on the others i lost. i will def change it up like you said and give it a try. It did started off a little slower then what i wanted it to but when it picked up it picked up. i did 52 damage in one turn to make a come back win.
and will oblivion ring rotate out?
Not bad, congrats! And yes it will rotate
do you think maybe arrest or something on the lines of that would be better so it dont rotate out?
I think its too early to start planning for rotation...its not an expensive card and its the best at what it does. Mizzium mortars is better removalthan arrest. Arrest doesn't get rid of the creature, and that's the same problem that pacifism has.
thank you i will keep that in mind. i have a few of those cards i believe. should i put them in the side deck or the main deck?
I was trying to keep it all m14 but as long as the cards dont rotate out anytime soon then im fine with that and i thought arrest would keep the card from using its ability for a turn but taking it out the game is better then just for a turn. so yea that would be better thanks.
No problem. Mizzium mortars is probably your best bet as a 4 of replacement for pacifism in the main deck.
i will keep that in mind when i go to rebuild this deck. once again thanks. im still not used to all the cards and new abilitys yet. theres alot of new ones that there used to not be. My next deck i want to build i think will be a counter deck and im not sure what else. dont really want to use burn because thats what everyone else normally uses when its a counter deck.
Red green white decks are oftenly reffered to "Naya" decks. Naya is basically those three colors but in a shorter word. There's ofcourse a reason as to why it's called naya, but you could probably google that if you'd want to know more :)Also, Gaspartacus knows what he's talking about. Listen to him.
Thank you. Like I said I havent played since 01. just a little here and there on the xbox but i really want to get back into it. ill be going to my 3rd fnm this week.
