The inspiration for this deck was to compound really aggressive burn spells that synergies well together and take an opponent by surprise with sheer speed. There's something appealing to me about playing Burn.

I would reduce the number of cretaures a little bit (e.g. remove/ sideboard "Grim Lavamancer") Furthermore I would remove "Char" as it is rather expensive to play and "Pulse of the Forge" because you want to be fast and thus lower your opponents lifepoints faster than he does yours. An alternative could be "Browbeat" and/ or to increase the number of "Magma Jet" in the deck. Greetings Muktol

Thanks for the tips. Added 1 Magma Jet for the 1 Char and 2 Browbeats for the 2 Pulses. I was at a crossroads with these two cards. I wasn't sure if Magma Jet was too expensive for 2 damage but given it does Scry makes up for it.Browbeat is a cool card but in a close (and rather dramatic) situation like 1 life point each, he could just make me draw rather than taking 5. I did add it in though for the card drawing aspect, which speeds the deck up a whole lot. I'll be play testing this. What do you think about Magus of the Moon for Grim Lavamancer?Thank you
Keep the Lavamancer, I talked with some friends, who specialice on burn, and they said that the Lavamancer is set in many burn deck. Personally I simply don't like exiling cards from my grave, and the damage is 'just' a "Shock", but it uses a ressource that otherwise would be left unused ;) Deppending on your game-surroundings you could use "Blood Moon" in your main deck,
Ok I get what you're saying.I agree that the Blood Moon and the Magus are situational and they can slow the deck down a bit. I guess main decking them are a good choice after game 1 against ramp or accel decks. Thanks for your help!
I am always so iffy on Lavamancer. Besides that, nice deck. I like it.
I know what you mean, it can be slow sometimes for me. Thanks for commenting!
