In all my years playing magic the ability Unearth is what vexed me the most. Until I came up with this cool combo.

The idea is that you put research on the scepter and play creatures with unearth. You bring them back into the library and the rest is all plain sailing. Plus there is the surprise in the sideboard.

Lol nice idea, umm btw guess who this is. Hint : FP :p
Sweet I like it http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=21594
Umm...how exactly do you get the Research out, though? Seems like you only have red mana to play a green/blue cost. But, other than that, you're playing around with your enemy's life total. Very empowering.
Grapplehanger check out the scepter's special ability please. Irukandji welcome to the Vaut. (my student) ;)
So you have a student I see ANON. haha. good. I like this deck, you and your combos are certainly fun to see. I would assume that having some repeatable search would be extremely handy too. You could use vampiric tutor (you would want to add lifegain) or Worldly tutor, or Eladamri's Call, but then maybe something to find your scepters and such too, it may be too much for the deck. I like the idea of it all together though.
WHAT ABOUT ENTOMB?? It's perfect, 1 mana send a creature to the graveyard, then you can bring it back with unearth and put it back in the deck with research and put it back in the graveyard with entomb? Just another option. (it is restricted though... so sad)
Smc1215 I can't get enough of your comments. lol You are right about the search but I'll leave that option for extended and vintage players to decide. So far as it goes, on Lackey, this deck has trashed my Saproling deck at least 10 times. And that deck has the potential of wining on turn 5. When you have played magic for so long you would like to give your experience to the next generation. Since I'm the only one of the older players who used to go and play regularly.
