The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

This is for a deck challenge that I believe is awesome. Basically play radiate on mirror and mantle on pyro with izzet in play and it is game over for opponent. With a grapeshot and a twincast in hand the combination is truely awesome. Copy the radiate so as to copy the grapeshot and copy the seething song to pay for extra copies. Instant over kill in the opponent doesn't counter the first card.

Well just one thing I have to say: the sideboard (if I was allowed to play one) would have had the following cards: Vedalken Engineer, Isochron Scepter, Brain Freeze, Counterspell, Swerve, Wee dragonauts and Double Negative. Basically you still use Radiate but instead make things chaotic and Wee dragonauts a killer. +1 to my own deck cos this is my ultimate master piece to date.

I arrainged the deck cos I forgot that the giuldmage has a limit to which spells can be copied. Well I only added twincast inot the mix so it should still work out just fine.
just so you know, you didn't post the link on the forum :D
hmm, looks like a solid build, but not really around radiate right? Still i would like to see this deck in action :) +1
It works around radiate as well as twincast at the same time. Essentially it really screws the game if both are used at the same time. The sideboard would have made it even better thanks to the constant countering combo where i could bring the total number of spells cast well over 20.
Personally I would put at least 1 or 2 more lands. Though your deck doesn't really run that much defence and you do know that if you Radiate a spell, it just copies it on the stack. Those copies don't trigger "Cinder Pyromancer" or "Glectrode". So basically I don't see much use of Radiate besides basically kabooming the entire field. Including you, your creatures, and your opponent.
