Deck discussion for Progenithus Nightmare

You forgot that you can't enchant Progenitus with any aura or anything? You can't even target him with anything because he has Protection from everything.

He isn't targeting Progenitus with the Followed Footsteps or Aura Graft. He is only targeting the enchantments and moving them onto Progenitus. They never target the creature! Its a legal move!

This is a WELL though out deck! Nice Job! I would like to see it pulled off. I bet it takes a while to run its course!

GOOD WORK!

The Wall is there to stall for as long as it takes.
There are cards in this deck which allow me to search for both creatures and enchantments so I wouldn't take too long.

The lands would be a problem I think. (need to test it out)

y does everyone lack the understanding of prot everything, even if he can move stuff onto the progenitus it will fizzle off of him and go to the graveyard becus of the prot everything, only way to truly make progenitus betr is to use clone/progenitus/mirror gallery/ and serra's blessing, that way u hav multiple progenitus on the field with vigilance, also remember to always use dramatic entrance and elvish pipers

Sorry ANON:
Rule book:
502.7c - A permanent or player with protection can't be enchanted by Auras that have the stated quality. Such Auras attached to the permanent with protection will be put into their owners' graveyards as a state-based effect.

Oh and by stated quality it means what it has protection from, so in this case... everything.

Oh... found another one, specific to this EXACT case. A rule just for Progenitus...

# 502.7i - "Protection from everything" is a variant of the protection ability. A permanent with protection from everything has protection from each object regardless of that object's characteristic values. Such a permanent can't be targeted by spells or abilities, enchanted by Auras, equipped by Equipment, fortified by Fortifications, or blocked by creatures, and all damage that would be dealt to it is prevented. I'm afraid you are all wrong on that case.
Cos I did the test for level 1 judge and protection doesn't mean it can not be the target of an indirect spell or ability as is this case. The enchantment is not targeting the permanent since the enchantment itself is the target of an ability. Besides as clearly stated by the guildmage's ability it is the enchantment that is the target.

If you guys don't believe me I undrestand I failed the test cos of a stupid question like this.

Yo, I found a way to actually copy Progenitus without any rule infringement.

Check it out:

technically, he might have a point.

progenitus has protection from everything (not very specific). meaning he has protection from the rules too. say i put a charizard out in play (yes i can do that). since charizard is a pokemon and progenitus has protection from everything, they could fight, and no winner would be decided because charizard goes back to the non-existant bench when he is defeated. (so he is invincible.)

now, i have a question, if progenitus has protection from anything does that mean the "legendary rule" will become null?
