The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

This is a relatively budget attempt at a red/white defender control deck, and I restricted myself to the Zendikar block and m10, in the hopes that what little I used from M10 will be reprinted in M11, and this deck still usable after standard rotates it out. I'm also hoping they will reprint Oblivion Ring, or they could be replaced, not sure what with though. Sideboard ideas welcome, as are adjustments within my restrictions. I'm trying to keep this deck in and around €50, and it's currently on €43.

hi, this deck sounds good, but you'll have some problems with the greater creaturesl. Once earthquake has rotateed out you can play pyroclasm instead. You can play with hourney to nowhere or searing blaze instead of punishing fire, that could help to handle with some creatures. I don't know if you can easly have some turns without losing life but if you can, perhaps its a good idea to try luminarch ascension, what can increase your deck agressiveness a little or you can even try Warmonger's Chariot. You can try to play with Kazuul tyrant of the cliffs once you can force the opponent creatures to attack or predator dragon to a surprise final attack (devouring phoenix probably opens your way to opponents life points). To sideboard you can play some condemn or celestial purge, Kor firewalker (against burn), Dispeller's Capsule. Perhaps fight to the death... or intimidation bolt. Its quite dificult give considerable suggestions to keep the cost lower than 50€, but I'v tried :P, I hope some this could give you some ideas. ----------------------------------------- Comment my decks too ;)
