Deck discussion for Hydra brood

Nice idea, somewhat of a tribal, certainly a nice theme, but it's just far too slow in my opinion. You have the ramp, but.... this is a very late game oriented deck. You wont have much to block with, no life gain to offset the early aggression, and sure you don't need to rely on the Hydras as you can use the Magistrate to pump up the other Elves, but you essentially create one threat at a time which you know my decks well enough to know that just wont cut it as I'll remove every last one of them and then you're left with nothing. If you reach late game, things will look great. For example, if we're doing one of those 4-6 person free for alls and you're ignored for most of the game (which we know wont happen, but hypothetically speaking...) you can have a frightening board. Issues: No ways to deal with early aggression other then to sac your elves which you need for ramp, no healing to offset the early dmg, spells and enchantments all focus on the theme (which is fantastic) but going for a late game theme is tricky as I've already pointed out, you'll have trouble getting there against most decks. You don't have spells to interact with your opponent's boards. Fliers will be a nightmare for this deck, early aggro and swarm decks are a giant pain, control decks can render your efforts ineffective. I like the direction this deck is going but I would say this isn't complete just yet. It needs work before it's ready to be playtested.
