The Deck focuses on the Efficient Fetching, Playing, and Equipping of you finest weapons. With the teamwork of your Creatures, one can use the equipment in ways beyond their normal uses, creating semi-substitutes for "Giant Growth"s, "Fog"s, the "Doomblade"s, "Emerge Unscathed"s, and even a variant of the "Wrath of God" type cards.
All Creatures either aid in the use of equipment or are buffed by them.Puresteel and Brass squire both render equip costs 0, the latter making them instant speedStoneforge and Stonehewer fetch equipments and effectively reduce casting cost by 1. The latter also gives a free equip.Duelist gets a buff from being equippedMetalcraft activates Puresteel, buffs Edgewright, and makes Etched Colorproof.Duelist and Edgewright both get double strike, which can cut a devastating chunk out of your opponents deck with Body and Mind, or provide some much needed healing with War and Peace (not to mention the extra damage). And if your opponent is foolish enough to bite the hook of Kusari-Gama, double strike can potential make for a focused board wipe. Pile up a few equipments and they may have no choice but to block...if their color alignment even allows.Metalcraft also provides one of the few one-drop Creature killers giving this deck 8 kills for as many mana, (provided their conditions are met, though that wont be hard)An army of the Squires can turn your equipments into a quick defensive buff or a powerful "Giant Growth" type Finishing move. They can prevent damage or kill spells with the Swords. In conjunction with Kusari-Gama or Neko-Te, one can even toss the weapon to whichever creature gets blocked, forcing its activation.
