BATTLE OF WITS

by angus_02 on 20 June 2012

Main Deck (277 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Battle of wits:
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you have 200 or more cards in your library, you win the game.

I know, I've been going around telling people to keep their decks at 60 cards and such, but I wanted to challenge myself to make a deck able to win using "Battle of wits"

This should be interesting, Help is definately needed, so please feel free to help me. So go ahead and make some suggestions.

Keep in mind, that for it to work the card count needs to be over 200...

If this deck ends up being pretty decent, I'll proxxie it up and bring it to the local card shop and kick some ass.

Deck discussion for BATTLE OF WITS

Getting some lands in here and adding something like Evolving Wilds will help.

Increasing ambition is another tutor
and once you add land youll be well over 200 and you could remove red altogether you have just lightning bolt and shock ( while normally i say 4 colors is dumb this defies typicall deck laws)

Id run
For stall
4 guard gomazo
4 fog banks
4 propaganda
4 norns annex
4 ghostly prison
For some control
4 Roil elemental
4 day of judgement
4 phyrexian rebirth
For tutors
You got this all kinds of covered

If you have any life gain, lim-dul's vault could be useful

Love the number of tutors here. You really need lim-dul's vault. That could potentially get your keycard. Enchantments like Mirri's Guile / Sylvan library or maybe Sensei's Divining Top could be handy.
I see that you're planning to be defensive until you get Battle of wits, with that you should have Peacemaker/Skinshifter. Remove Rhystic Tutor and change it to Enlightened tutor instead. Anyways, this is pretty solid for a 265-card deck. CheerS!

Keep up the good work man!
