Some Gruul cards I have gathered that I want to use to beat up my opponent. With all my mana dorks late game I will dump the excess into one of Savageborn hydra, volcanic gyser, or any other big fat not out by turn 5. With all the bloodrush going down I will make my opponent not want to block or have to block either way something is dying.
Mana dorks give me tons of mana then I dump fatties early game. By mid-game the opponent should be overwhelmed by creatures and damage that the ca not hold me back. And if they are not dead by turn 7 then out comes the geyser for a huge amount of damage.

love these kinds of decks. put in wildwood rebirths and get those bloodrushers back and play them again in the same turn. its such a sick thing to do.

Thats a good idea I will try to get some of those cards. Hey do you have an idea how I could deal with removal card like magma jet or shock?
are you trying to get rid of the opponents spells so they can't be used or trying to prevent the damage from spells that remove creatures killed by their effect?
I think preventing the damage would be best in this deck. Maybe I could just bloodrush when they hit me with the spells?
its been my experience that damage is going to happen. for just 5 mana (2 green, 2 red and a colorless) you can send a 2/2 guildmage into an attack with +9/+8 trample. you are going to lose creatures, that shouldn't be a problem for this deck, you have enough, so just make another one. creatures in this deck are shock troops. they hit hard, they destroy the enemies defenses and with any luck hurt the the opponent and if they die they are easily replaced with something bigger and repeat the assault. a good running gruul deck only needs to have this work a couple times. don't worry about creatures dying, its what they do.
