I love making weird decks with funny mechanics or themes. However, although extremely funny to create after so many iterations 'doing something new, also gets old'. So I wanted to create a deck that I think is fun to play. For me the most interesting part of playing magic is the interaction with your opponent. From this I thought it would be fun to create a Tempo deck. Play something dangerous, protect it, stall the opponent and race to the finish. It makes for fast interactive games. This deck is my first attempt at such.
