Deck Description

I have created this deck together with the complementary Selesnya deck: https://www.mtgvault.com/angatjuh/decks/wg-planeswalkers/

I've been wanting to create a planeswalker heavy deck for some time and I've also wanted to create a deck centered around Nicol Bolas. With the coming of War of the Spark the time seemed finally there. I made these two decks with sort off a dual deck arrangement in mind. By choosing two opposite color combinations (Selesnya vs. Grixis) I had the opportunity to show and play a lot of different Planeswalkers.

How to Play

Nicol Bolas is the strongest single card in the dual decks combined. You just want to make sure Ajani hasn't grown to strong to combat by the time Nicol Bolas hits the table. What you want to do is trade cards as much as you can, while drawing loads of extra cards, with Baleful Strix and Flux Channeler. Aid the Fallen plays a similar role, but uses the graveyard instead. Ajani has the brute force if given the chance to grow. Your route to victory lies in keeping him small while winning through getting card advantage and choking him from his resources.
