Just wanting to be an annoying prick I made this deck. The idea is simply to bounce back every creature that hits the table and prod your enemy to death with wizards (which takes forever).
Get your cowardice on board and return every creature back to their owners hand with sway of illusion. Statecraft and fog bank helps you survive long enough. After that 1 damage at a time to kill the enemy, which WILL be tedious... And of course the combo of Sway of Illusions with Cowardice is insane! xD

Mass Appeal might make a good alternative for card draw. All your creatures except for the walls are Human.

Zuran Spellcaster is not a human, they are all wizards though, so it still might work. I do like Mass Appeal, I use it in another deck. I'm not rly sure I need it though, it's a bit mana expensive and only works if there are creatures on the board...
He is a human according to his oracle text. so have at it! :)http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=184683that said there are a ton of "do x and draw a card" cards for blue for cheap. Right now sway of illusions secondary effect has no use to you (unless your scared of doom blades) and vision skeins is not a draw card i would use unless i can drain the enemy hand.could use cards like brainstorm, thought scour and Peek. or if you dont care about ban lists Gitaxian probe or preordain.
Oh thnx for pointing that out to me about Zuran. Further I agree with you on Vision Skins and I might change that. About Sway of Illusions however you have missed the point, because he is insane here! The combo with Sway of Illusion and Cowardice you can send EVERY creature of all opponents back to their hands! xD
woops, i read that as "your" creatures. not "any". Thats an insane combo
Dazzling lights over visions imo. Would work nice played before stream. I have both in a mill deck
Yeah visions is the card that needs to go. Dazzling Lights might be a nice addition. Thnx!
I think you're onto something here. Definitely looks annoying to play against.
Thnx! xDIt's fun to play as an 'in between' deck. Wouldn't want to be playing this all day long though...
I'll battle you!https://www.mtgvault.com/lemeurtre/decks/assassin-controldestruction/
This is a lot like how I started my bounce deck.Check out Suq'Ata Firewalker and Aphetto Alchemist. Aphetto is a cheap untap that also works nicely with Cowardice. You could even consider some tapping artifacts with him or Seat of the Synod for extra mana (he can untap the land, since it's an artifact).
Yes thnx! Both are really good additions/replacements for some of the cards in there!
I have a deck with similar strategy to this. I recommend Sigil of Sleep over Cowardice.
Why would you prefer it? For the low mana? I do see your point, however I don't really like aura's because of the two-for-one against removals. Thnx for the tip though!
You're right, it doesn't work as well. Particularly with Statecraft. Pemmin's Aura would also be an interesting addition to this. http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Pemmin%27s%20Aura
Kaijin of the Vanishing Touch and Echoing Truth maybe?
I think Fog Bank is a safer solution for this deck than Kajin, because it only needs to stall and Kajin can do that maybe once, but then it is destroyed itself. Fog bank can just stall until the combo is on the board, after which it has done it's job. Echoing truth might be a good solution against a token aggro deck. I'm not sure about maindecking it though...
Maybe add Hidden Strings? The more annoying you are the better, right? haha
For a second there I thought this was a direct win condition! But alas! I don't think it really adds much. Sure it can be annoying, but if all goes well this just makes it hurt a little less long for the opponent. It doesn't however add reliabililty, which I guess is more important here.
Have you thought about a isochron scepter? That way you can keep bouncing/countering/targeting everything for 2 mana till it gets taken of the board of course
I love Isochron Scepter! I don't think it really works in this deck though. I can keep targeting their creatures with my wizards and they can't get destroyed, because they will just be sent back to my hand. So in a way it's safer then Isochron which can be destroyed. The only problem might be decks that can target more then this one... but those are very rare I guess.
