You are right about Wheel of Torture. I am pretty sure I did not found any card that punished having a fat hand other than Dark Suspicions. Sorry for the late response, this deck has been online for a long time and had not received any attention before.
What's your scheme deck?
Quicksilver amulet or the Crucible combo seem like they are critical for success. Why then do you have only 2 Amulets? You have 3 tutors to get them. Is that enough? Because the Green tutor and some blue artifact fetchers could also work. Also, you have 16 cards on the sideboard. You probably know you need to remove one. I would recommend having just 1 Admonition Angel. Nice budget, by the way. I am not entirely sure why this deck is 'Unloved'.PS: What the hell is Phyrexian Tower doing in an Angel deck?
I like theme decks, good for you!
Looks like fun! XD
Sideboard against other really fast decks?
Well, since you don't seem to be saving much cash, in the land area I would include Overgrown Tomb. Also, this deck looks like a very solid hardcore vintage deck, except it kind of lacks the quick mana bursts (mox diamond, elvish spirit guide, lotus petal, etc.). I tried a couple of sample hands and I always felt like there was some little mana problem preventing me from winning by the third turn. I think that I would ditch the Canopy Covers and add another Green Sun's Zenith, that card is insane. Fauna Shaman and Chord of Calling are other green creature tutors that perhaps you would like.Or Summoner's Pact if you feel you can pay latter, or you would win right away. Sylvan Tutor is a sorcery speed Wordly Tutor, so there's that too. And there's always a place for Sensei's Divining Top. And as for other kill combos: you got the persist creatures right, I can't discuss that part. Also, the vampire, station and altar are the best (and only) things with an activation cost of "{0}, sac a creature" that lead to victory (except perhaps for Fallen Ideal, which might be better that the altar). But, Viscera Seer costs just 1 mana and helps you get your persist creatures and you legend, and once it does, it basically reads "if you would draw a card, instead, choose whatever card you want" which means that it get inmediately that Blasting Station. I would consider putting 4 of those guys. This are all just ideas, I hope some where useful :)
Timesifter exiles cards, so I dont see how the Wheel would help.
What atreides said. Abundance and the Puzzle would give you a new hand each turn with the land/non-land proportion you want, but it wont give let you "pick cards by naming them". You could only sort out your deck and get a colossus on top if you had no lands in the deck... so I dont get it.
