Deck discussion for The HairBall

For the title alone you get a like. XD

I like it! Fast and sharp. :) You might want to take the Skyhunters out of the sideboard, though, and replace them with some of the other two swords, however. Also, remember that a creature equipped with SoW&P is going to be an illegal target for Stave Off.

Actually, thinking about it, switch 2xSword of War and Peace of 2x Sword of Feat and Famine. Green is going to run right over you and black is just going to wipe your board.

Another point: Faith's Shield > Stave Off. They are almost identical except for that extra oomph you get if you're in desperate need.

Might even want to consider Akroma's Memorial over True Conviction. Yeah, it's 1cc more, BUT you get a lot of bang of your buck and who can resist that many flying cats? :3

Hm..

midnight haunting will most likely give you a better head start. Also, if you choose to replace the white suns with midnight hauntings, then you will have no need to look out for memorials. Anyways, about what the above guy said, you should definitely replace two of your war and peaces with feast and famines. Although war and peace gives slightly better abilities, the protection you get from feast and famine is incredibly important.

Anyways, I understand you want a cat theme with your deck, but I really do think white suns may be a bit slow with twenty lands in the deck. Same with true conviction. If you find you are having mana troubles, replace white suns with midnight haunting(plus its an instant!) and the true conviction with more equipment, since sunspear shikari goes really well with equipment.

And if you do get more equipment, you can easily replace the stave offs with puresteel paladins. But if you don't, then you should definitely get faiths shield. That card screwed me over a few times due to its ability.

Sword of war a peace is a great card and all, but it's best when combined with card drawing decks with no maximum hand size. Also, because it has protection from white, it means you can't use 'stave off' on the creature it is equipped to because it's a white spell. Also why have 4 planes walkers when you can only play 1 of ajani subtypes at a time any way?

I have a blue and white deck built called jace's flying cats where i use Sword of war peace, if you want to have a look at how i personally like to use it.

what about adding guardians' pledge ?? to replace the white sun zenith??? maybe just replace 2 of them??
Its hard for me to pick out a good card that will stay with my theme lol...

I add 2x Feat and Famine and 4x Faith's Shield, they work good with this deck
I can use the -3, flying and double strike from Ajani.. so there no need for Akroma's Memorial ...when testing this deck I found infect, along with exalted works really good ...

ty all for your feed back on this deck
