Some Tap-based damage (Tim!). Tricks: The Aphetto Alchemist can untap others, and combos with the Pemmin/FftR for self-untap (for a U). The Puresight M can untap alone for U. The idea is then to have some ctr that can tap for dam+draw card+unsummon - and untap for U. High Tide is then to kick in some punch. Puresight+Paradise M can cycle through the deck. Vedalken C can tap opponents or the Storage Matrix (untap with AA). Meekstone is a small defence. Dizzy spell, Drift of P and Muddle the M is for transmuting (1, 2 and 3 CMC). The hope is to draw cards quickly with Curiosity/Brainstorm. And play spells quickly due to low mana cost and AA+Paradise Mantle. Comments are welcome - but be gentle, I have been away from MTG the last 10 years or so. :-)

Two words: Royal Assassin. That card would wreck this deck. I do like the idea though. As you said, you've been away from MTG for 10-ish years so I'm trying not to criticize too harshly lol. 10 years away explains alot of the older cards too. There are standard cards that do the same thing as alot of this deck..... But I still applaud you :) GJ

Thx for the comment! Not harsh at all :) Im not that strong on the whole "what goes on the stack when"-thing, but wouldn't I be able (ideally) to either ping the RA or untap and make his ability useless? I mean, as a response to the RA's ability.
Yes and no. Alot of your cards could come out before RA so you'd be set when he lands on the field, but if somebody gets him out before you (or god forbid more than one) then you're in pretty deep. Other cards do the same thing as RA though. Assassinate, Vengeance, etc. Stuff like Freed from the Real could be used against you as well if your opponent taps your "ping"-er before you. Your opponent could then tap your creatures and assassinate them (haha play on words). Your deck also seems to lack any kind of big creature defense besides counterspell. That could ruin you if your opponent got something bigger than a 4/4 out there. Just a little something to think on.
Duly noted! A good point - I had somehow hoped that Sigil of Sleep would take care of all the creature-hassle ill meet, but that might be an illusion. Ill test and see if more counter-likes can do the trick or maybe some steal cards. Powerful enchantments/artifacts also seems to be a potential hassle.
'Tis true. Sigil of Sleep would take care of it to a degree, but you only have 2 and if you face something like white weenie, then a swarm of 3/3 creatures would be bad. Maybe toss in something like Persuasion if you're playing casual. Or Clone, something to rob your opponent's creatures. Also, for casual play, Hurkyll's Recall returns all artifacts to the owner's hand so that solves the artifact problem. And Echoing Truth returns all creatures with the same name to the owner's hand. Just a few older cards I'm aware of that could help out.
Coolio! Good ideas, ill put em in the sideboard and see if playtesting will show me what I can substitute them for.
My mistake, echoing truth goes for all nonland permanents with the same name. I generally use it against token swarm decks. When I bounce 10+ tokens to someone's hand (they all go away instead) opponent generally gets pretty upset. But you sideboarded it so no biggie lol.
Hmm, Gilded Lotus + Aphetto Alchemist w/Pemmin's Aura would give infinitive U. It's a bit expensive in both money and CMC, but a viable "end-game" tactic. - Basically it likely equals infinitive damage (and maybe you drawing all your cards ;) )
The deck is heavely updated - maybe I should just have added a completely new deck. The transmute ability is now helping getting the cards needed and the tap/untap trick more emphasised.
