Deck Description

This is my current deck and its only weakness so far is i lose more against monoblack trading post deck because im lazy to find good sideboards lol. I"ve tested this deck against the top tier 1 decks like delver, B/R zombie pod and variants, boros humans, token decks, vampire decks, R/G aggro, solar flare, etc. My deck is good after rotation in october and this deck is consistently winning against aggro and other types except for this trading post monoblack control deck. I just don't have any good sideboards against trading post and wurmcoil. I usually ran out of oblivion rings lol.

Sample Gameplay: (usually i draw these cards most of the time especially during tournaments)

1. Bring down plains and cast champion of parish
2. Bring down plains and cathedral of war. Cast doomed traveler or another champion of parish. Attack with Champion of Parish for 3 damage. done.
3. Bring down plains. cast either fiend hunter to remove blocker or silverblade paladin for more offense or Ajani for support. Either way you'll deal 4 damage or 8 damage this turn. done.
4. Bring down plains. you either cast riders of gavony here or sublime archangel. make sure you make your opponent defensive at this point. Make sure when you attack it will always connect. I've made it a habit to always have a calculated strike against my opponent. If you draw a faith's shield or safe passage, use it very wisely as those cards determines your surprise victory.
5. Winning time. Bring down plains. Make sure when you attack this turn it will not be blocked. Here is where your riders of gavony ability is a pain in the opponent's ass lol. Also, you can cast faith's shield here to protect your attacking creature by granting it protection from a color of your choice or cast it to protect sublime archangel or your riders of gavony. That's it! I usually win at this point or at turn 6 and 7. The only time i go over beyond turn 6 and above is when a bad draw occurs or my opponent is using a control deck.

I hope you like my tried and tested deck although it's a bit pricey, but a consistent winner! On october, i'll convert this one to azorius detain lockdown deck.

Deck discussion for Best Exalted Standard Deck

I plan on adding nevermore and tormods crypt as sideboard against control and graveyard based decks.

if you want more offense you could simply remove safe passage and replace with aven squire for more evasive calculated aerial attack. Just remember protect very well your finishers (either sublime archangel or riders of gavony soul bonded with silverblade paladin) with faith's shield.

Also, do not worry against bonfire of the damned you have safe passage here and faith's shield that is why it is part of mainboard. I've tried B/W exalted before but it mana screws me a lot of times even if i have isolated chapel. anyway, so far so good with this deck and it can win against tier 1 decks most of the time.

Just a question, what if you don't get Champion of the Parish in your first draw (or mulligans)?
