There are plenty of cards in modern that can do wayyyy more than that for less mana. I wouldn't suggest Debt to the Deathless.

Good Idea, but for better results in all sorts of situations, I would put a little less of these : -1 Vizkopa, -2 basilica, -2 doom blade, -2 go for the throat, -4 pacifismAnd put a little more of these : +3 thrull parasite (speed), +2 well of lost dreams (speed), +2 swords to plowshares (no type limitation + exile), +2 ghostly prison (4 prison is more global than pacifism), +2 disenchant (you need to defend yourself from key enchantments and artifacts)
