Hello, I'm a complete n00b at Magic, and I read about the Rule of 9 Deckbuilding strategy earlier today, where you have 4 copies of the same 9 cards, plus your 24 lands. I've created a deck that makes it so the opponent must dump all of their cards into graveyard until they have none left, and hence lose. It's also filled with a few powerful monsters to give the deck aggressive qualities, as well as several cards that won't allow the opponent do much of anything. I, myself, think it's a decent deck, but I would like the opinion of an expert, as I'm fairly new to the game.P.S. Ignore the 100% green thing, this is really a blue-green deck.
Ranger's Path helps obtain as many Lands as possible, so that Dreadwaters wreak as much havoc as possible. This, in conjunction with Mind Sculpt, gets rid of quite a few of the opponent's cards, as well as provides 10+ cards in the opponent's graveyard for boosting Jace's Phantasm to 5/5 easily. The elf cards are pretty nice cards IMO and support each other in the following way: Elvish Farmer allows Vanquisher to be summoned without costing the ridiculous amount of extra mana, and, in turn, Vanquisher allows Packmaster to come on the field without having to be sacrificed.Monsters are boosted by Titanic Growth make a maximum impact on their life.I just added Negate because I thought it would be useful.

Good deck for a beginner. Not very creative, but I'm sure it will win plenty. If I may make one suggestion: replace Mist Raven for an elf. Both of the Wren's Run cards depend on elves being in your hand or on the battlefield.

Haha. I didn't realize there were rules for deck building strategy, but I accidentally followed it on the last deck I made http://mtgvault.com/1111222334/decks/hex-yeah/
