Deck Description

I made this because a lot of people said merfolk was good and it beats a lot of the newer meta game decks

I use steel of the godhead to combowith wanderwine prophets giving me enough turns to win

the combo is if i am loosing late game or want to finish off the game

I would really concentrate on strength of creatures rather than combos and tricks. Those are nice bonuses.
Cut the:
2 Harpoon Sniper for 1 more Merrow Reejerey and Lord of Atlantis
2 Jace Beleren
2 Merrow Harbinger for 2 Sygg, River Guide. Having 2 of him and 2 of ure prophets would be draw percentage for a cluch card.
4 Mystic Gate for Hollowed Fountain. If u have the gates already, I would drop it to:
2 Mystic Gate and 2 Nimbus Maze
3 Ponder and 2 Cancel for 4 Ancestral Vision.

I would also cut the Steel of the Godhead for 2 Loxodon Warhammer. So far that's 67 cards I think. Still needs work, but I'm sure u'll get more help. Maybe 3 pump merfolk is better: 65, and lose the curse catchers: 62, and 2 less douser: 60. But, u might wanna do things differently. Just eliminate what u think doesn't feel as powerful and comfortable in play. Also I'd suggest adding a sideboard of 4 Sower of Temptation.

should i cut the banneret since everything is low mana except for prophets but he is only just in case for late game

I question how necessary Bannerets are, myself, unless you were to replace your Dousers with Harpoon Snipers to destroy attacking creatures rather than just placate them. Either way, the deck seems solid, though I agree that maybe Steel of the Godhead might not be the best choice for enchanting Sygg or Prophets, and that if you don't care about the cost that Loxodon would work better.

ihave 3 loxodons and i dont kno becasue i need the unblockable for the combo but loxodon would work better overall so i cut protective bubble which i had 2 and i may add loxodon for it

I would add a wanderwine prophets + some Rootwater thief + 2 Merrow commerce + Stonybrook Banneret + some Surgespanner and cut out the harbingers + the wake trashers + one cryptic command + one sage's dousing + the cancel's + the warhammer + one sygg.

i like it, try remands instead of cancel, they always work out well, you deck isn't very contorl oriented, so drop the cursecatchers, dousings, and broken ambitions, which gives you 4 card slots after cutting down to sixty, take out 2 cancels and 2 warhammers to give you 8 slots, then get 2 more prophets one more o ring, one more steel of g,, get another silvergill, another lord, another reejerey and another cryptic command = awesome. Hope i helped!

yah, i like remand a little too much, but you should definetly cut ALL the counter spell stuff because you won't need it, it's not that great. You should focus on aggroing the hell out of this deck and just destroying people!

pretty solid deck, but I would add sage's dousing or merrow commerce and I think you should take out the harbingers, its way too high to play considering its only a 2/3 for 4 mana.

Hey, regarding my merfolk deck, its just a challenge that me and my friends made to make a 12 rares limit deck.

Anyway, you should try putting 4 of the most useful cards instead of 3, and I dont know why this deck would need the loxodon warhammer.

Broken ambitions seems like a bad idea after looking at the cost of your cards. Ink dissolvers can pretty much do the same thing. 2 Ink Dissolvers and 2 Cancels would be a good addition.

ink dissolver is mill broken is for a cheap counter spell and cancel isnt that good i would rather play 2 more cryptic command
