Yes. It performs extremely well. Destroys most modern decks.
The "win con" is to annoy the hell of my friends until they ragequit or remove all their lands
Hell, Lux Cannon is so powerful I'm considering building an entire deck around a play set of Lux Cannon and blue/red or blue/black proliferation...
Interesting deck. I like the idea of it, however in place of, say, 2 Walking Archive (or if you need the draws, you may drop 1 Arcbound Worker and 1 Arcbound Stinger) go for Lux Cannon. You have proliferation through Contagion Engine and Energy Chamber. Lux Cannon would indefinitely remove any pesky permanents your opponent brings out. http://magiccards.info/query?q=Lux+Cannon+%28r%3Amythic+or+r%3Arare%29&v=card&s=cname Rather cheap too.
Thank you! If you have any suggestions, let me know.(:
I've been thinking about dropping a 2 Golem's Heart for Tezzeret's. Just haven't quite made the move yet.
Name a few of what exactly? :P Cards that could help your deck out?
As a beginner, keep your deck at 60 cards. I'd add 2 land, too. Try to have 2-4 of each card in the deck as to avoid the randomness this deck will experience. Atleast as a beginner. This allows too many possibilities, and you'll never really have a set plan-of-action with this deck. Check out my decks for ideas.
A friend of mine used the combo against me. It gets pretty rediculous. Inquisitor's Flail would also be mean on Invisible Stalker. It allows him to deal double damage, while taking double damage if blocked; however, he is unbloackable. The flail is 2 mana for a 2 equip cost. Tie that in + Trepanation? Dear Lord. 1 + reveal X / discard X + +x/+0 + x2 multiplier.
Both cards are relatively cheap. Under a dollar each. Otherwise I kinda like this deck, especially for being so cheap.
You definitely want 4 Invisible Stalkers. Maybe remove the Niblis' for him. He's a 2 mana drop Hexproof Unblockable 1/1. Instead of Avacyn's Collar, use Trepanation Blade. 3 mana drop, 2 equip for an unbelievable effect. When equipped creature attacks, the defending player removes cards from his/her deck until they reveal a land card. Equipped creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn for each card revealed this way, and they discard the revealed cards... equip Invisible Stalker with Trepanation Blade, and you're unstoppable.
I'm new to constructing my own decks. So far I've thoroughly enjoyed your "budget" series. It's giving me ideas on how to construct my personal casual decks - cheaply, too, which is a bonus since I haven't gotten into T2 yet. Thanks man! If you'd do me a favor, could you check out my mono-red Dragon deck and give me some feedback? It's the first deck I've personally tried constructing. Thanks in advance. ^^
