I like the type of control you put in the deck. It's different than what I usually see and it's refreshing. There's a lot of mechanics and different cards in there; I think the deck would be greater with more consistency. For example, the chances you could use the proliferate effectively are thin. Since there is not a lot of metalcraft, I think I'd remove the modern banned artifact lands and the Pemmin's Aura to make it modern playable. I think dual mana lands would be better than the artifact lands anyways (for the mana fix). You got 20 lands, almost no mana fix or draw spells/engine. There's some high cmc cards in there and it's 3 colors, so how is it going with the mana ? Aren't you stuck most of the time ?
To be brutally honest, no... I tend to get tezzeret out most games fairly early, then just use his second ability, removing 0, then search for an artifact land and put t into play.Though i enjoy the idea of making it play more fluidly, can you offer some lost $ cost examples to freshen up my deck?
Ok good. In that case maybe add 1 tezzeret ? It's 5$ I think. For some draw/scry/control, I like playing Foresee or esper charm. I'd add 2-3 lands (arcane sanctum or dual mana land). But if your deck works as you wish already I wouldn't touch it :)
I would like to make this deck a little more focused, so you suggest adding another tezzeret? which one? the same one i have or the agent of bolas?
I've updated this deck a little bit. I've taken out the proliferate and added some copy mechanic for additional control, and draw. Tell me what you think.
if youre keeping it legacy , maybe 2 more preordain and/or a couple of ponders to grab your tezzeret(s) a little faster ? In which case i would include in your deck. 1 normal one and 1 agent of bolas to avoid having 1 useless in your hand. Cheers for the comment on my artifact deck btw the scythe is definitely worth looking into.
The only issue with having both tezzerets... I can still only have one down at a time.
Oh wait didnt think about what to do with the Agent of bolas which you cant always effectively sacrifice (the x ability is always handy). Maybe the 2 normal ones on second thought.
Looks like fun. Just similar comments as above. Do you run into any real inconsistency issues with this deck? That would be my biggest concern. If you do really like the variety it offers, than I would suggest trying to find a few spots for Fabricate. That way you could get you pick of which gear, nut, or bolt of this deck fits the situation the best. Other than that, maybe add some of the artifact based mana fixing like Darksteel Ingot or Sol Ring.
Yeah, I don't run into issues with this deck very often, but it does happen. I would like to add some good mana artifacts, but I simply don't have the cards available to me haha
