The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Just picked up a deck at the local card store, added some cards, took away ours, any ideas for improvement? I want to add more vampires with lifelink but the keep the general idea behind captivating vampire.

take out green love of god take out green. If it is a vampire deck put in gatekeeper, nighthawk, and hexmage. also try to make it mostly only vampires, and bloodghast is nice.

yes definitely take out the green, the only reason you would need it is naturalize or search land but thats what marsh flats is for, definitely everything useharden said, and 4 of all of them blade of the bloodchief, malikir bloodwitch maybe, pulse tracker, guul draz vampire, kalastria highborn, then feast of blood, maybe soul stair expedition, sorin markov idk just trying to help i know its just something you put together but seriously take out the green, and cut it to 60 and 22 lands if just black, good luck
thanks, will do.
bloodthrone vampire, bloodghast, blade of the bloodchief, and kalastria highborn have excellent synergy for a vamp deck if you can afford it get some marsh flats, bloodghast come back onto the battlefield when you drop a land, regardless if its a fetch land, you can sack 1 bloodghast 3 times in 1 turn with a fetch land
and here I thought, finally a player who understands that playing mono black sucks and adding a second color to a vampire deck is the way to go.
well in my opinion playing with the green is workable, but i need more vamps and i dont think i have enough space for them, so i will have to loosen some of my green... but honestly green cards saved me in some occasions, for example when opponent plays four white knights, mono black fails really bad if/when he does that.
Then just play black green. Take out the captivating vampire cause you cant play dual colored vampires, but black green aggro could work.
well captivating vampire is still workable, when i get four other vampires out... or when i use the diabolic tutor to get him out.
well im playing a different list now anyway. = )
this deck is cool cause i won against the hardest magic player in my school and won this deck is cool thnx
