if you own, or can get your hands on some fetches, steppe lynx could be wicked here. cool deck though, for everything being one mana it actually looks decent ^_^

lion's eye diamond.

careful study, faithless looting, and breakthrough are the cards that make dredge, and your not playing any of them.

not too bad. i cant imagine increasing devotion ever really being that great. sorin lord of innistrad could be cool here. pumping out tokens for the soul twins to take advantage of, and they have lifelink. doomblade and go for the throat could possibly be replaced by path to exile for one mana removal. also, im on the fence with sign in blood. its an excellent card but you might be better off dropping those for a few copies of sorin

The reason im not using dark confidant is because the life loss from him is too unpredictable. with the cards im using, i get to decide when or if i deal damage to myself.

i might wanna upgrade to thoughtseize in the future though.

some of the fateful hour cards might actually be cool. break of day is the one your thinking about. i was playing against a RWU control deck that was hosing me with supreme verdict. that card would have been nice there :p

loogs like a pretty typical Rug delver list, but thats not a bad thing. the numbers all look good, and i really like the 1 greensun. i prefer the lists with stifle personally but this looks real tight ^_^

i think the card your thinking of is hedron crab. but seriously, this isnt a legacy deck, and its not tournament quality. you would get hosed at a legacy event with this

raginggoblin has a point. this deck doesnt have the lowest mana curve. But im thinking you should be able to kill them fast with the card advantage you gain, and you can probably gain some life with deathrite shamen.

It seems like this site is mostly kids who play standard and kids who are new to magic : / v3 looks like its gonna be slick though, so i figure ill stick around anyway

i would play clique in the side. your not running thoughtseize, the selective "discard" from clique can be a blowout sometimes.

seriously why don't killer decks like this get more attention on the vault?

this is a cool deck but i don't understand how it has 700+ likes. there's nothing original, or broken going on here. whats so exceptional? It doesn't even seem all that powerful, and the sideboard isnt finished. outside of casual this deck doesnt seem to great. but then again your playing skullclamp so you cant play it outside of casual... so now im really confused. a casual black deck, that is good, but not that great, lacks any originality, doesnt do anything broken or crazy has more likes than any other deck on the vault? even if 90% of the people on the vault are casual players and kids new to magic, i just can see how this garnered so much attention.
