The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

I have found yet another storm deck that’s come out, so I had to do my own version as per usual. Here is the original https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/3541194#paper

How to Play

The goal is to discard a lot to play some free hollow ones and buff flameblade, and you finish with bushwacker

Deck discussion for Discard storm

I'd run 4 underworld breach, as it's the one that enables burning inquiry/goblin lore to go berserk.
(Both will have an escape cost of one and will have 3 cards to escape it with and you just keep repeating as long as you have the mana)

Yes, but 3 is good, because I only want 1 and I don’t need it to win

I was reminded of something I wanted to say to you.
Then I forgot it again...
It might have had to do with a deck from 2018.
Ah, I remember now...

How did it go with your test run of my "back in 2018" deck ?
Did you discover how to play the split mana ?
Also, was there a lesson you could use in playing with nudging cards like negate ?

I said I will I still haven’t gotten to it yet, because I test online and am saving up for a computer

That's actually good, because I'm working hard on the deck again.
After I built the RW anti mill deck I tested it against all of my mill decks, and the deck that got the best score against it was my shrieker deck.

I've been doing some thinking, and come to the conclusion that the deck now has several ways to reimplement more mill, while still being pretty strong.

Two cards are pretty obvious, overwhelmed apprentice which sort of works as a different sage of Epityr with the capacity for milling included, and stream of thought which loops even better with kolaghan's command.

Since I've gotten the habit of removing 8-9 cards to create new core decks, I will give you a notification when I've reached the goal of testing the deck against all of my 64 testdecks.

That should ensure that it has some resilience against all relevant decktypes :)
In the past I always just played against the 20 most played decks, this time I'm going full scale just to see where it leads me.

So once I get the results I will have to find new cards to test through the same process.
As you will remember, I can test up to about 60 cards at the same test run. My two topmost candidates are stream of thought and dire fleet daredevil. I can also run a test on sage of Epityr versus overwhelmed apprentice during the same test phase, and will be very curious at which card manages to speed up the deck in the best possible way.

If you got any cards to add to the deck I will be very interested in trying them out. You can add combo pieces or strong individual cards, the process can handle it all. There was a time where I actually had a splintertwin combo in it.
The important thing is synergy. The more a card interacts with all the other cards in the deck, the better it will perform.

I've been running a battle between spreading seas and cleansing wildfires, and so far spreading seas is the superior pick.

It's been a while since I've seen a new deck from you.
Partying a lot?
Or just trying to hibernate ?

I just don't publicise much, but at the current moment I'm tyring to abuse blink and morph

Morph is such a cool concept, I've considered many times to create the perfect morph manacurve :)
It would be difficult work thought, which is why I've never done it.

One aspect could be to include a color that I didn't really needed just to force a reaction in the opponents gameplay.
Like having a blue/red deck with black lands in it to make people fear seeing an array of black cards. It's always been fun to play with blue mana and never tap it, it always stall the combo player a turn or two :)

[[Herald of kozielik]] might be good

But really you need control to make it work

I think morph is an ability rather than a cost, so I'm not certain the herald would lower the payment.
If it does it would be nice, but yeah it would need protection too.

No, my tweak would be focussed on playing as many morphs as possible during a turn, and if it wasn't possible to play a morph, the rest of the mana should be spent on casting spells normally.

Turn 1 and two there would be cast no morphs.
Turn three a morph would be cast.
Turn four a morph and a 1 cost spell.

Sort of like that.

It is a cast, that's why you can't do it at instant speed, but to flip it is an ability so you can do it at instant speed

Hmm. Other millers have finally discovered chancellor of the Spires. Three so far have been using 1 in the sideboard.
One player listed it and the two others might just have copied it.
