thanks!! I will definitely look into bloodchief and Painful quandary. I don't know whether or not suffer the past would be good because i can use my opponents graveyards with geth, i wouldn't really want to get rid of them. but the life gain and damage would be very useful, and if my opponent is also playing a reanimating deck it could be very useful. so I will think about it. Liliana's caress is practically the same as megrim and I may put it in, it depends on whether or not I decide it is more important than anything else in there.

thanks. I added 4 more lands so we will see how that works.
You will probably want four of each of your combo pieces, some more tutors would be good if you can afford them.. i would suggest card draw as well such as harmonize and sign in blood.
Since you have black in your deck i think you have access to better removal than ratchet bomb. Also because this is an aggro style of deck you may want to focus more around building your own power rather than controlling anything on your opponents side of the board. playing aggro you probably won't want to leave lands open for your kill spells. however, contagion clasp and contagion engine will both serve as kill spells and keep adding poison counters on your opponent. id reccomend swapping grasp of darkness for contagion clasp. You might want to consider running llanowar elves or birds of paradise for some mana ramp. but thats pretty optional.
this is a really cool deck. might i suggest banefire? also maybe akroma's memorial, souls fire, pyretic ritual, and the other red mana ramp cards?
I would say that your first order of business is to try and use more of each card if possible because it will make your deck more consistent. most of your cards should be 3x or 4x unless they are high mana cost cards. as the mana cost goes up, you will probably want less of those cards in your deck because you won't need them until later in the game. also i would reccomend trying to decide on a strategy that your deck will follow. Do you want to completely mow your opponents over before they have a chance to do anything or do you want to keep them from doing anything as you build your army etc. there are many different strategies you could come up with. once you have decided on your strategy. take out all cards that don't work towards that goal and replace them with cards that will help you achieve that goal. I understand that you don't have many cards so this may have to be a gradual process as you collect more cards. If you really want to improve your deck, you would do well to set up a deck on here that plays consistently and performs well then buy just the cards you need online. It will be cheaper than trying to get them through booster packs. However, you can also just change this deck slowly as you increase your card base. When i first started i bought a bunch of the intro packs, played with them for a while, then took them apart and used all of the cards to make a deck that would work better. Lastly, You need to remember the strengths of each color. Red deals with speedy creatures and lots of burn, although it can also have some bigger creatures as well. blue mostly focuses on controlling the game so that it turns out in your advantage. Blue is one of the more difficult colors to play well but it can also be one of the strongest colors when played correctly. I hope this helps. If it does, take a look at some of my decks and tell me what you think.
This is a really cool deck idea. especially with memnite coming out in scars of mirrodin. Could i suggest you consider adding khalni garden, and kher keep to your lands. also look at the cards diligent farmhands and muscle burst. they might not be your cup of tea but they can be very very powerful. Im usually against lich's mirror because it resets you and not your opponent, but i understand how you use it in here because your deck needs very little land. I still might reccomend using elixir of immortality to reset you instead of lich's mirror because it doesn't take away your momentum. THe problem with lich's mirror is that if your opponent managed to kill you once. they probably can do it again with the head start they have. platinum angel might work better if you are using it as a last ditch scenario.
artifact v2. its the newest decklist. dropped black. changed things around.
hey bro, check out this deck. it looks like it might be a deck you could be interested in ordering. it costs less than 30 dollars and is pretty cool. idk what you think of treefolk but it might be your style.
Lodestone myr
perhaps some call to the netherworld.
I would like to know if there are any improvements i could make to this deck without spending a ton of money on it. I would also like to know if you think this deck is any good. thank you. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=82756
nemesis of reason!
Living death!!!!!! bring out all of your dead creatures in one move. also bloodghasts would be great in this deck. Also putting in emrakul or several feldon's cane to allow you to shuffle your cards back into your library would keep you from milling yourself before you can kill off your opponent. also if you want to play reanimation you might want to use buried alive to put your best creatures in your graveyard. and dark ritual could help you speed up your deck. I hope this helps. If it did please go to my profile and rate some of my decks or give me suggestions on how to improve them.
Well first of all i would say check out quest for the nihil stone. Also since you are running black i would recommend you run swamps mire as well. its cheap discard and you get to choose which card they discard. Raven's crime is good too as you can play it multiple times with the retrace ability. I agree with Graham that you might want megrim as well. Sign in blood could be good because you can use it to either replenish your own card supply or make your opponent draw more cards that you make them discard while dealing damage to them. I would reccomend you use less of the shortfangs because if you have more than one out and your opponent has no cards then all your shortfangs go to the graveyard. maybe you should check out the other specters instead. You also might want to put in some creature destruction like doom blade or bone splinters in case your opponent gets creatures out fast. and suffer the past or shadowfeed or ravenous trap could be good sideboard additions in case your opponent tries to fish stuff out of the graveyard. I hope this helped. If it did take a look at some of my decks and give me any suggestions you can find on them.
If you weren't worried about keeping it standard i would suggest you sideboard aether spellbomb to deal with eldrazi. idk if there is anything similar in standard. you could try locking up their mana so they can't spend it. or some prison spells so that they can't attack with the eldrazi? Im not really familiar with standard right now tho. I agree that you might want to add black. there are so many good black cards for mill. and then you could use suffer the past or ravenous trap to destroy any chance of your opponent fishing cards out of the graveyard. Mindbreak trap could help you stay in the running if you start getting overrun. I hope this helped. If it did, check out my decks and see if you can give me any suggestions on any of them.
HAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA I LOVE THIS DECK. To get around the problem with the mana you could choose charizard as your pokemon. then you could use red mana... it loses some of the fun of choosing pikachu tho.
I know that. However, Death cultist is very useful for getting in that last point of damage, also its a one drop creature which helps get it out fast. And in a pinch it can give me an extra life point which sometimes makes a huge difference. Its expendable early game and helpful late game when i need just a little extra pop.
I would reccomend instead of trying to make it any faster just turn it into a control deck so that you can take the time you need to get your cards out.
