How to Play

Start turn 1-4 draw, land, go, always leaving counters and removal open. then desecreation demon or supreme verdict turn 4, jace is an other option but wanna keep protected, so I ussaly lead with a turn 4 verdict then turn 5 hit jace. turn 5 or 6 always wanna hit a obzedat, aetherling, or sphinx. Then just win with atherling in 2 turns or the same with obzedat and desecration demon. SIDEBOARD 2 demons to beat aggro decks same with doom blade, cyclonic rift, sin collector, and dispel are more for control matches. although cyclonic rift can beat aggro deck or decks that run off +1/+1 counters.

Deck discussion for Esper Control

I would try elixir of immortality. It's very good with sphinx's revelation. and maybe a pack rat or two also. Great deck!

I actually don't think that it would be too hard for you to switch this deck to standard! You should do it! Snapcaster is good though, so he would get in the way. Anyway, you should check out my american standard control deck!

Great deck! It looks pretty good cause you control the game for a long time then get a big bad creature down and win! I think Adamantian is right you should switch this to standard and when it's not legal anymore switch to modern. If you have time please look at my newest deck. :)
