Deck Description

U/B Speed Mill deck I use to play some of my friends. Trying to figure out a way to make it faster. Sideboard has always been up in the air. Any suggestions?

Deck discussion for WORST MILL DECK EVER!

You should run laboratory maniac in the sideboard so you can self mill when vs eldrazi and graveyard decks.

You know, I never thought about that. I have talked to some of my friends about wanting to make a self mill deck. I guess I could maybe even mainboard 1 or 2 as a back up plan. This deck has been able to beat out a few eldrazi modern decks. Emrakul is SCARY! Thanks to Jace I have been able to repeatedly return Emrakul and other eldrazi to their owners hands, but still at great cost. After that I try to build up his ultimate to remove their deck and swing for the kill with Creeping Tar Pit. Its not the most effective kill strategy, but its worked a few times. Laboratory Maniac would definitely be an easier win strat, though I am concerned that I would lose a lot of my power nine and mill cards in the process of milling myself.

Hi Alchamine,

Personally, I like to mill oppponent's in one fell swoop.
Millstone + Painter's Servant seems the best combo available right now.

With Black Lotus you can Show and Tell the above combo out as early as 1st turn possibly backed by Force of Will or Daze. More than likely game over on your second turn.
