This deck focuses on making small creatures into champions simply by playing your other creatures. It also features creatures that have protection or allow you to deal damage directly to a player(trample, choosing opponents' blockers, etc.), keeping the pressure on them when you swing.
In the beginning, ideally you want play a champion of the parish your first turn. Your second and third turn should be spent casting other smaller creatures( other champions, kruin striker, cathedral sanctifier to build your life up) or even legion's initiative to boost your creatures early on. By turn five or six, you should be ready to cast your thatcher revolts most effectively. Playing a goldnight commander or cathar's crusade when you have the mana to do so can be vital if the game might go longer than expected, keeping your creatures up to par with your opponents'. After at least one of those cards enters the battlefield, cast thatcher revolt. This can amount to three 4/4's with haste in addition to your other creatures getting +3/+3 as well. Add in legion's initiative and you have three 5/4's with haste. You can support yourself late-game( if you need to ) with cards like herald of war to keep larger creatures at a cheap price. Also, creatures like Mirran Crusader and Soldier of the Pantheon can potentially brush off green, black, or multicolored threats and be unblockable to those colored creatures. Odric can also be easily activated and used efficiently to run your opponents' blocking strategy into the ground. The sideboard offers plenty of removal, wether it be small or devastating, to help in most situations. Send small creatures to oblivion with pillar of flame, or wipe their board with bonfire of the damned. Using battle hymn to boost your bonfire can be an endgame for your opponents. To keep their creatures from returning immediately to the living, cast a grafdigger's cage. It is an easy way to lock down their graveyard and library, shutting down some combos in the process. Vigilante Justice can weaken blockers or slowly pick at your opponents' life. Some cards you could swap in for a change would be fiendslayer paladin, congregate, or great soulbond humans to bond with your baddest creatures. Also, Mikaeus the Lunarch or Thraben Doomsayer can be of use to building your army in size and strength.
